There is a warez version of the Ares client .
http://www.warez.com/
Heres the blurb that goes with it .

Hope that helps BattyeWarez P2P Warez P2P is the adware version of Ares (Ares does have adware, however there is no forced installation.) It is basically the same client as Ares, however it does install a data miner on your computer (you can opt out of the other goodies.) Although it does contain adware, it is a clever campaign to further advertise the network. This technique is not new of course, as FastTrack and the Manolito P2P network have both had various levels of success implementing this idea. The Ares/Warez P2P network has demonstrated the most success out of the three, as its population has exploded since its introduction.
Cheers

Ok for the People who havent heard of Warez , Its exactly the same as Ares ... Runs on the same WPN and the exact same interface ( just a little different as it was the Beta Version of Ares (latest version)), Warez has been out a bit longer than Ares and has progressed quite well. I heard of the new remote command system ( ARCA )(ares remote chat admin) ... As warez and Ares Are the exact same p2p program i dont know if it works with Warez aswell ( up and coming test ) .. I have been using Warez for about 9 months now and there is no difference between the two ... but i have to say that it is a great p2p. As for viruses ... they do pop up from time to time ( as on winmx, Ares and tesla ) only because of the nasty people out there who want to riun it for all .. but as you should be aware u shouldnt download small files or suspect files ... if it looks too good to be true then it is. thats my moto. so be careful on any p2p network ... as for Adware and spyware i havent had any as yet and hopefully wont in the future...
g'day quicks , i got a little info about ARCA, i went into True programming on ares chat... I still got more questions for em but as far i know ( second hand source ) ARca still has some MINOR bugs ... as i havent found out as yet what they are, They ( true programmers ) are trying to rectify these problems as quick as they can .. but as you know its not an easy job .. so everyone who is actually using ARCA be patient as it will be rectified ASAP.
as soon as i get more info i will post more about it unless quicksilver gets to it first

That's amazing. My system is scanned on at least a weekly basis for spyware and adware... I almost always find something. Are you actually looking for these things??Rock wrote: ... as for Adware and spyware i havent had any as yet and hopefully wont in the future...

Die Verstorbenen werden wieder in einem Fluss des Bluts steigen
Well to date .. im using adware , AVG , Sygate , and PestPatrol and nothing has come up on either of those ... If you have had spyware or adware, which version are you using ? Ares Galaxy, Ares Lite or Warez v2.0 or v2.2? I scan on a daily basis as the computer im using is currently used by 4 other people and i've had no slowing down of the PC. Adaware is updated on a regular basis .. pestpatrol ... i used last night for the first time in 5 weeks and only got spyware from was Navexcel ( what eva that is for )

I don't get any spyware. I have a hardware firewall, no anti virus software and I run Adaware's Adwatch. No virus, no spyware, no nothing. Plus I stay away from porn and warez sites as much as possible. Those 2 are the biggest offenders in the spyware realm.
