99% of my uploads timeout (I guess my downloads are afected too)
I have tried with primary and secondary conecctions, opening different ports or not using them at all.
Also reinstalled all the network protocols (Win ME)
I don't have a router. My ISP is cablevision/optimum.
Thanks for any idea.

Hi Diegoba, have you tried all the suggestions in this topic ?

http://forums.cricketmx.com/viewtopic.php?t=1029

Some other folks are having problems with their ISP,s so try these settings in you WinMx settings TCP port 443 and UDP port 1032 , remember to restart WinMx.

All I found around are router/firewall-related problems. But I don't use any .
And WinMx setup detects the TCP and UDP ports as working.
I was told that is becoming a somewhat usual problem and is related to compatibility problems between WinMx V3.5 and V 3.3.
Could that be the reason?

There is no compatability problem that I know of with regards to the network, the only difference is one small flag in the protocol, besides that its the same.
Can anyone D/L from you or can you D/L ?

I can download, almost normally, just few results and a bit harder to connect.
But only some 2-5 uploads a day are succesful. The rest time out.

Ok I,ve looked through the other help topics and it seems that Optimum are blocking your ports so it is a tcp port problem, see the 2nd page of this thread for the same advice I gave earlier

http://forums.cricketmx.com/viewtopic.php?t=1240

Make sure your ports are set as listed above , if that still doesnt work I suggest using ports 80 and 120 as these are never blocked as they have other functions :)
