one thing i have noticed is a lot of the topics in the OT section are games, games are great, but they're taking up quite a bit of room on the page, likewise a lot of people wont scroll down and go through pages to rpely to a topic. So I'm thinking of a section specifically for games and odd and ends, i guess we could call it odds and ends, that way we can have off topic discussions.

Mmm. I'd noticed too. Maybe we just have nothing to say. :)

yeah that's likely. But i noticed when I and other people started making the word of day things as far as topics dwindled down. We need to bring back the life into the forum. If we can people to first don't get offended by material. We all have our own opinions. I loved arguing with dogmeat, don't know if he still comes here or not. Didn't matter if I was right or not, I think he did get pissed off, but hel, I had fun debating and arguing. Take something that you believe strongly in and speak out, not because you want everyone to think like you but to get everyone to understand why you think like this and understand why someone else thinks they way that they do. Being on the internet makes it easy, you don't have to worry about someone smacking the ***** out of you because you said nigga, no i am not black, so call me cracker. Whatever happened to my tonka will smash yours in the mud. Where did all the fun go.

I'm not saying we need more heated topics like politics, I think we need more enegergy in the forum. It's a small community, but who cares, that's what makes it better, you dont have to worry about the topics changing when 8 people you never spoke to take over the topic and talk about pink fingernail polish and barbie dolls and why they like wrigley's spearmint chewing gumk when the original topic was about guns and why they should be used on certian types of peoiple.

Hell we could have comedy forums *****. I think this day and age we can use audio clips and so foruth of our own creativeness. I got a friend who needs to be on comedy central, she so funny, and it is all natural to her. When I compare what a comedian on comedy central to her she hit's the nail on the head i swear.

But all in all that's what we need. Now my website that I'm trying to host over satelite, doesn't really work, is dead not because of the packet loss, the energy is gone, after a year and a half, not too many peoiple care to come back.

wanabe, thanks for the suggestions, you have raised some very important points. We are currently looking at a number of different options to increase activity on all fronts :)

I can still kick you around if that's what you really want. You should think about that though. I've gotten more cynical and hardheaded with my advanced age.

Wow. I was just thinking of dogmeat the other day. (Saw a domain similar to his name, thought I was getting Linux advice from him for half a second).

I think that adding a 'forum games' or 'odds and ends' section is a great idea.

yeah but the truth is I've gotten to the point where me and politics have really just parted away, my realization is practically anyone in politics or businesses are a bunch of crooks, period. In any field, it doesn't matter what side they're on, or what party they belong to, everyone wants to have thier way, wether it is money, women, or power. That's why I don't vote, cause basically, everyone is just as ***** up as the last asshole in line. Between corporations and all this rediculous money spent on thier campaign, hell anymore, unless you spend $100 million dollars on your ***** campaign you wont become president. I dont know but I dont think all this rediculous money spending is necessary. Plus anymore all they do is smite each other, like a damn high class version of maury povich show, just not as good or intresting, not even funny, although it does make me think of something funny, like two nerdy kids fighting over a calculator. You know what party I belong to? The Unpolitical Party.

and this is my symbol:
