I got a new router yesterday (D-Link Di 614+A), before forwarding the ports i figured i would fire up mx using a secondary connection unable to send/receive udp/tcp, but the computer wouldnt connect to the network. So, i forwarded the ports in the router using the easy instructions i found at http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=1054 then reset winmx for tcp8888 and udp9999, while running the setup wizard i saw that the tcp seems to be connecting ok, but the udp is not. Ive tried 3 different computers on the network, all get same results. All firewalls are disabled (except the one in the router). OS are XP pro, win2000, and WinME. Internet connection is wireless BB, isp is speednet. Ive played with the DMZ settings a bit and that seems to do nothing. Anyway, all i really wanted to ask is, shouldnt i be able to connect to mx without forwarding any ports if i connect as secondary tcp/udp unable? thanks in advance
