This is the release the Mxcontrols team was working on and seems to have completed in record time 8)
Its name is "Solis Planum" and it is version 0.5 of RoboMx.

http://mxcontrol.sourceforge.net/module ... tit&lid=67

Or from this backup mirror.

http://mxcontrol.sourceforge.net/module ... tit&lid=63
This release fixes a lot of issues and some minor feature improvements.

This might be the last release of RoboMX, although you should never say no ;) It's been fun.
For a almost complete list of changes read the full story.

Bugfixes:
+ Crashbug on long shared file list
+ Crashbug on PM / Browse
+ User loosing operator status on rename in RoboMX server
+ Fixed channellist menu

New:
+ 3 color presets to choose from and new default theme
+ Look&Feel update, cleaned up menus, lists etc
+ Browse view now Displays bitrate, length and samplerate for audiofiles, can now refresh, show/hide path, send PM from browse view
+ Animations in PM and Browseview can now be disabled
+ Advanced WPN Setup: Completly disable WPN Support, Force connection to a specific primary node, or get a random Node from the WinMX Peer Cache server
+ All window positions are now saved across sessions (can be disabled)
+ Several new commands for operators in a RoboMX hosted room (see robomx-server-commands.txt)
+ Roomserver can now save and load configurations (including bans)
+ RoboMX is now compatible with MCMA hosted rooms but your color-sheme will not work correctly due to the crappy way MCMA implements colored text (Join a MCMA room with WinMX using the Dark-Text/Light Background color-scheme and you will see what I mean ;) )

and and and :)

There are some new hidden fun features, you just need to find them ;)

Also: Take a look in the about dialog for a wedding picture :)

Big thanx to all those who Gave their time to provide us with this good program 8)

( P.S. Avid Cricketmx watchers may ask why the new thread ? Its because I dont really feel this is an "Alpha" build anymore.)

I spent a long time waiting for a program that would do what this one will.... we all know I am giving the layman's view of it as I dont get all the technical stuff. With that said....

I love this one... I am able to use the admin commands with the touch of the mouse, thought that was gone forever since no Bendmx worked with my evil ME OS and I still use the winmx 3.53.
The emoticons work great on this one which is very fun.. My favorite thing so far about this progy is the idle animation. I thought I had really done something or my cat had... hehehe, when the animation came up on the screen... yes I love the smileys...
I thought the text with the pic of Bender and his new wife was also nice..
Just one other thing I would have liked to see.... the time stamp in the chat channel would be really nice.. other wise this is a great progy if you are using 3.53 and the evil ME ...

Thanks Quicks for the heads up on it...

I agree ME Here this version is so good I,ve even swithed off one of my Nushi clones I use and started using this
It will make a big difference if your using 3.53 as you can use the admin cmds and taskbar selection feature to basically do what you used to do with Rcms or Nushi and kuru kuru plugin installed.
Only one point missed by most people though
Bender Said
This might be the last release of RoboMX
Thats a great pity but Bender I,m sure needs to do things in his life besides program for us all  .
Cheers Bender for all the good programs so far and be justly proud of this one .

OK, I though I bring it at least to a 'Final' Release ;)

Here it is, RoboMX 1.0 has reached the 'Final Frontier' after a long development journey. You can download the installer and sourcecode from the Download section. I also ported the iceAnnounce Plugin to the new API version and added a Sample Plugin that you can use to build your own Plugins (with VS-NET 2003).

I want to thank everyone that contributed code and time to RoboMX namely these are:

[Nushi]@[2SN], Jann Peterecki, Pablo van der Meer, N. T. Almond, Jimmy Brush, Nguyen Huy Hung, Dimitri Rochette.

I also want to thank my wife Sabine for her work on the graphics and the GUI and for her patience ;)

A very big thank you goes to the community that helped me with bug-reports and suggestions and by writing plugins. Without you, RoboMX would just not exist:

Jimmys, troll, bincoder, Dj-Billarious and all the others :-)
Thanx from us all go to Bender and all the good ppl who contributed , Cheers !! 8)

RoboMX 1.01 Sourcecode
Description: This is the sourcecode for RoboMX. You need Visual Studio.NET 2003 and the latest Platform SDK to compile it To build the installer you need NSIS 2.0 or newer. ( The archive contains all artwork and soundfiles that are required to build the installer so it is a bit big ;) )
Version: 1.01 Filesize: 2.72 MB
I released RoboMX 1.01 for public download.

This gives the finishing touch to RoboMX by adding GUI frontends for Ingored Users, Autojoin Manager and Trusted Users. PM's can be limited to Trusted users only.

If the RoboMX window is minimized, RoboMX can display a tooltip if a new PM arrives. If you rightclick on links you can select different operations for that link now.

It also introduces Wildcard support for Usernames in the Ignored and Trusted userlist. You may also use wildcards in triggers for soundevents, in the channelsearch and filesearch. RoboMX supports the * and ? wildcards.
Have a look at the Screenshot section for some Pics :-)

For PC-Dummys: wildcards
Special characters such as * and ? that can stand in for other characters during text searches in some programs. The * wildcard generally means "match any number of characters in this spot," whereas the ? wildcard generally means "match any character in this spot."
Well What can we say .. :D Thanx again all those good ppl at MXControl 8)

http://mxcontrol.sourceforge.net/module ... it&lid=112

The sourcecode is available from here

http://mxcontrol.sourceforge.net/module ... it&lid=113
I released RoboMX 1.22 for public Download.

Some minor updates:

1) Channellist:
+ Channellist can now be cached across sessions, (you can manually add channels to the cache if they just wont list on the wpn ;))
+ Favorite channels can now be grouped at top of the list (right click-> add to favorites)

2) Chatclient:
+ Usernames are now clickable in joinmessages too
+ Userlist can group admins and voiced users at the top of the list, as WinMX does
+ Simplified custom menu's (Count=n is no longer required)

3) Updated GUI stuff
+ New background image and some new icons :)

Enjoy!
Cheers Bender , and Team 8)

And for those who just need to upgrade .

Get the source code from here

http://mxcontrol.sourceforge.net/module ... it&lid=115

little present for St. Nicolaus day: RoboMX 1.23

Updates and changes:
+++++++++++++++

1) Removed roomserver.
(you can still compile RoboMX with the server if you add the preprocessor directive _ENABLE_SERVER to the project settings, and replace the directive _NO_SERVER with _ENABLE_SERVER for the resource compiler)

2) The items on the Channelbar can now be moved with a context menu, so you can re-arrange the order of your windows on the bar :-)

3)Added Channelstatistics (rightclick->channel statistics)

4) Added Lurkmeter, which measures how talkative the room is ;-) The result is displayed in nL (normed Lurks ;-) ). Values smaller 0 indicate a talkative room, values bigger zero indicate the room is full of lurkers. (rightclick->display in channel->Lurkmeter, or F6)

5) Added Logfile selector to rooms for quick access to logfiles

6) Host has his own icon now in the userlist now :-P

Some more, but I forgot the rest :-P

Have a nice Advent-time,
Bender.
Thank you all at MxControls and Merry Xmas , your a great bunch of people 8)

For those who are able to do it bender has posted instructions for compiling the bot with the server activated
You need Microsoft(r) Visual C++ 2003 with the latest Platform SDK to compile RoboMX yourself:

+ Download the RoboMX sourcecode
+ Open the RoboMX workspace in Visual Studio
+ Selet "Build->Configuration Manager" from the menu bar
+ Select "Release" from the dropdownlist at the top
+ Hut OK
+ Select "Project->Metis3 Properties" from the menu bar
+ Go to C++/Preprocessor and add ";_ENABLE_SERVER to the end of the Preprocessor Definitions line
+ Go to Resources/General and replace _NO_SERVER with _ENABLE_SERVER in the Preprocessor Definitions line
+ Hit OK.
+ Select "Build->Build Solution" from the menu bar.
I think this is a wise idea .
