I am on the move alot more these days as is so many others. I use my smartphone more and more I find it better than lugging around a laptop. Okay I will use the term 'there is an app for that.' some websites have even have a mobil view. I would like to suggest it for CMX. I don't know all th ins and outs of doing it but it sure would make it nice for lil ole me. I have webOS 1.4.1.1. And 2.0. Is soon to come for me.

any thought on taking this site to the next level ?

My iPhone displays CMX perfectly, but I am not familiar with Web OS. Is that for the Palm Pre?

Something which caught my eye recently was this iPhone app - http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/phpbb-fo ... 12414?mt=8 - maybe the same developer has written an App for Palm?

There are apparently scripts to adapt phpBB forums for mobile devices. One of them, called phpbbWapGate can be found at http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=224847 but I have no idea if it's any good and was written for phpBB v2. I don't know if there is an up to date version either.

Tune, which pages aren't rendering correctly for you? I'm still unsure what can be done to improve the theme for mobiles, as I only have experience with the iPhone and not any Palm phones, but if you can point out the things you have difficulty doing it will put me on the right track :)

You must have had that link bookmarked Rat, we haven't had the forums in the /phpBB/ directory for years :)
I think the world is moving away from WAP, it seems Webkit is the direction we're heading. Which is resulting, thankfully, in pages appearing the same no matter what platform you are on. I love the fact that I can view a website in Safari and know I can view that same website on my iPhone and know it will look the same.

I don't know if format would be the right word. Guess getting a few pics. Would help when I get the chance I willl.

the size of the fourm is to small to read. When you drag it out to a larger size then it is long huge scroll left to right. Some sites I look at a doubel tap on the screen will bring the text up to a correct size to read without haveing to do that. If that makes any sense.
