I've been looking for a good way to connect phpBB to a CMS. I've seen that several CMS packages have their own forum plugin, but I'm fond of phpBB. The closest thing I've seen is this, and it's not yet been released: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... &t=1438655

Although I've seen several plugins to bridge phpBB with either Mambo, Drupal, or Joomla, they all look incomplete.

Any suggestions?

No, no suggestions, but I'd also be interested in how to do this because the forums included with most CMS packages are... ok... but not exactly flexible and not so easy to maintain as phpBB. phpNuke is a possible solution and I know that it has been used with phpBB. I was going to give that a try a couple of years back but I kind of got side-tracked.

I'm fairly certain that Joomla has the most reliable bridges to phpBB.
