Colts (.518)9. Titans (.514) Fantasy football league championships are upon us! Congrats to those who made it and to the others who had their season end early, like myself, good luck for next year. But for those who still need some advice to gain the tiniest edge necessary to win their championship game, here is the fantasy preview for the Oakland Raiders matchup against the Denver Broncos next Monday night. Must StartTE Jared CookJared Cook has been the only Raider this entire year that should have started every single fantasy game. Amongst tight ends, Cook is fourth in the league in yards and has the third-most touchdowns. Denver was also the team that gave up 210 yards receiving and a touchdown to George Kittle. RB Phillip LindsayGoing into last week’s game agains the Bengals, Oakland was No. 31 in the league against the run. After letting Joe Mixon loose, the team now sits dead last at No. 32. Phillip Lindsay has struggled as of late, with just 54 yards combined in the last two games, but the Raiders should be the perfect bounce-back game for Lindsay. Broncos D/STOver the past four weeks Bo Jackson Jersey , Denver’s defense has stepped into form. It has not given up more than 20 points, has forced eight turnovers, and has sacked the quarterback 11 times. The Broncos might not get the interceptions they want against Carr but they will surely be putting Carr on the ground often. Proceed with CautionQB Derek CarrIf anyone patrols Twitter, it is tough to make it through without seeing a statistic on how bad the Oakland offensive line has been this season. Like this stat below. With Derek Carr facing a strong pass rush led by Von Miller, it is tough to think Carr is going to have much time to throw or have a clean pocket through out the game. WR Jordy NelsonIn the last three games, Jordy Nelson is averaging over seven receptions and 77.6 yards per game. Judging by Nelson’s recent play, a touchdown in the game could catapult him toward a great fantasy game, however, there have been far too few touchdowns (3) for Nelson this season to expect that will happen. Moreover, Nelson had just two receptions for 30 yards in the first meeting against Denver. And that was with Amari Cooper to help take some of the attention away. QB Case KeenumThe recent play of Case Keenum has been nothing special. He has surpassed the 200 yard mark just once in the past month, has had five touchdowns and has done a good job of keeping care of the football. Keenum is just average. But we all know average can end up looking quite good against the Raiders pass defense. BenchRB Doug MartinIt has not been pretty for Doug Martin over the last two weeks. With only 71 yards rushing in the last two games combined, he has become completely touchdown dependent. And that is not good for Martin considering he has found the end zone just three times this season. RB Jalen RichardJon Gruden will still not let the dynamic Jalen Richard loose. Gruden called just four plays on the ground for Richard which went for nine yards against the Bengals. He is a weapon out of the backfield, but that isn’t enough to trust him to put up a good fantasy game. Richard might do well if Carr is quick to get rid of the football under heat, but Richard either needs a touchdown or a huge chunk play to make him a worthwhile play. He has zero touchdowns this season.Raiders D/STThe unit surrendered 30 points to the Bengals and Jeff Driskel.
