I don't think we have covered this one...

well take a look here, http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

This is very very useful tool, works on all versions of windows from 98 to Windows 7 64-bit, pretty cool already eh?

What it does it monitors fan speeds, voltages, temperatures, and most notably SMART status on hard drives, which works with IDE, SATA, and SCSI, pretty cool huh?

SMART status is important is simply because a heads up on head crash is nice, allowing some time to back up things, plus you can monitor your drives health even the temperatures...

Some tips about temps, most drives should stay around 35 to 45 C, Google did a study and if you look on page 6 you can look at how temperatures effected these drives.

At any rate backup your stuff, it is inevitable that your computer will quit working...

The latest version can read the smart data from USB external hard drives, which if you ask me is just bad ass
