For those of you that like to download games there are a few things you need to know.

1. Most downloaded games will not play without a nocd patch. Most of the time they are included in the download but if not check out Game Copy World for cracks and patches.

2. Usually games are available in the following formats:
a. ISO
b. RAR
c. Bin and Cue

ISO and BIN and CUE can be loaded into a virtual drive such as Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%. They can also be burned to a CD with your favorite CD burning software.

RAR's need to be unrared using Powerarchiver or WinRar. Once unraraed you will usually be left with an ISO or BIN and CUE files, follow the above tip.

3. Not all games you download will work properly. Mostly because of CD copy protection or just a bad job done by whoever made the file. A lot of times the updates for the game will not install or you can't play multiplayer with them. However, you can locate cracks for these problems out there. You may have to do a little research or post your problem and one of us will research it for you, usually for a small fee.

4. Before burning your game to CD use either Deamon Tools or Alcohol 120% to verify that the file you downloaded actually works, many times have people just downloaded and burnt to CD and have been left with a non working game "coasters"

5. There is another process used, a program called winISO this lets you extract the ISO or BIN, CUE into a directory in your HardDrive then install from there, its just the same as using a virual drive but long winded...But this program is a must for those of you that wish to create ISO files.

If anyone else who has tips for downloaded games please add to this list.
