I think there may have been a thread along these lines somewhere before, can't find it so I made a new topic :P

I've used:
  • Windows 95
    Windows 98
    Windows Me
    Windows Xp Home
And, I know a lot of people won't agree, but I liked Me the best, what about everyone else?

ive used ...
Windows 3.1 (how does that show your age? im 15)
Windows 95
Windows 98
Window 2000 (im on that right now, dont recommend getting any thing less than SP4 edition)
Windows XP home
Windows XP pro
RedHat 9

personally i dispise XP all together, i used window 98/95 for MANY years, and i dont like it when they move everything around on me lol, 2k would be ok if i didnt have to download SP4 on 56k (btw thats 150 mb!) red hat 9 is very nice, best of the bunch, just a resource hog, and u have to have at least a P3 w/ 128 or 256 mb of RAM for it to run efficiently

I have used 3.1, it was harsh.
then went to 95, loved it.
then went to 98, had second thoughts.
then it was Me, hated it.
went back to 98 se. loved it, still loving it.
tried xp home, thinking about upgrading, maybe, but I have heard 2000 is better.
So I am still thinking. :?

I have used 98 in the past, hated it. Now using XP Home for the last 2 years and I really like it. But then I take very good care of my computer so I rarely have any major issues arise, nothing I couldnt fix anyway.
I have to take care of my stuff in a proactive way, I'm too broke to buy new things and pay for work done. :)
