the thing it will link to is this:

http://winrejects.no-ip.org/nation.html

and for those who don't want to click on it:

"All of my websites are of my personal creation. They may suck, but still, it is something I have made, and most of all, I'm proud of them. I want to share them with you. This page's purpose is a maintain a collection of my major works. Enjoy."

I would suggest possibly making the image a bit smaller, nothing against what it points to, just the image size is a bit obnoxious.

i did resize it. The image is on my computer, same file name, therefore the image I posted was actually updated, it was like 678x181 now 500x133...

how small should it be....?

I don't think an actual size has ever been set by battye. The image size is much better. Maybe battye can come up with a size requirement.

I never thought it was a real need to set a fixed size. I've seen other sites do it and I don't like it. For example, a site I was on once gave me, not a warning, but a harsh reminder, that my image was 1 pixel too big

I think as long as a user takes into account, firstly common sense, and secondly that there are people on the forum with 56k (and big images will take a long time to load), there won't be any issues. :)

photoshop claims about 4 seconds. From a former dial-up user it's toleralable...

when i had tdial-up it took most pages a good 30 seconds to load, or longer.
