You & the CricketMX upgrade to phpBB Olympus

There is change in the air as we build-up to the upgrade to "Olympus" (the next version of phpBB).

With the change there is the opportunity for our members
to have a say in the type of new features they would like to see at CricketMX.

Are there any topics of interest that you would like to read about at CMX?
Suggestions for "feature articles" each month?

A suggestion regarding layout?

Or, perhaps there are features we have had previously, that you would like to see returned to the forum.

So, post your comments here. Your input will be appreciated.

You mean WAP access from mobile phones?
I don't think it works at the moment.

I am going to get in contact with some people to see if this site work on the iPhone though. That might give an indication whether it will work on other new phones as well.

Good suggestion mate, thanks! :)

Thanks for the input freddie. I can tell you for certain that Attachment MOD will return, making images easy to upload again :P

Also, if it is of any interest to anyone, I've had word that this site looks the same on the iPhone as a normal Apple browser, which is good news.

battye, thanks for your great forum.
Is there any possibility to integrate the blog function?
each member can open his own blog in this site, if he wants ...
The reason is, blog is more and more polpular ...
Thanks.

Also, Can the "Quick Reply" at the right side? And at the left part, you could add some links for related topics, or just add google ad ...

We probably won't be integrating blogs (but like all suggestions, we will review each one individually :)) but we will have some form of user submitted content :)

What is wrong with Quick Reply being on the left? I'm just curious about that one :P

I intend to add the Google Ads back to the bottom of viewtopic at some point... a few people have talked to me about this now :)

xzc, thank you for the suggestions! :)

OK :)
For exmaple, After reading your last reply here, and then I would like to reply, my eyes move down, and thinking I could add some contents exactly below the last reply, while I found now "Quick Reply being on the left"...
While it is just a small issue :)

And indeed, I would like to advise you could add a user/password login at the above part of the main page, now it is at the bottom, which need user to scroll down to the bottom ...
If it could just at the above area within the first sight of users, easily for their login in ..

Okay, I see your reasoning behind it :)

Thanks for your login suggestion too. If you think of anything else, don't hesitate to post! :D

not really a big thing, icons and buttons, and I suppose this depends on what template we use. customize the images, buttons to match the template of the site's colors and customize then to give everything an authetic looks rather than some ordinary phpbb board that really in the end looks like every single other one. it doesn't necessarily have to be images and buttons, but everything on the template can and could be changed and moved around.
