Dan, submitting lyrics in the new format is impossibly difficult.
Entering as a trusted user or not, has the same result..............nada!!
And I have tried entering my password with every song title, which is annoying, and still gives no result.
Using the previous format was a lot more user friendly.
As it stands I am left hoping Battye has time to submit any lyrics that I have added. Boo hoo!! I thought you trusted me

If I am missing something in my input skills...........tell!!

I'm having the same problems too moongirl,the older format was way easier to use.
It is a pain in ... always having to put my password all the time as a trusted user when i submit lyrics.
The last album i tried to submit was MotorHead's self titled album,it said it was added but when i checked if it was in the database only the album title was on it..it says "no records" when i click the album title'Motorhead'.

Oh i also noticed i made mistake when i added Motorhead - We are motorhead , track 5 'Out To Lunch' lyrics are listed twice as 5 & 6.

track 6 should be :

Thanx battye ..i checked if the song ' Wake the Dead ' was added by you ,but it wasn't ..i guess you can't edit that album lyrics..it still says 5 & 6 are the same song.
I also noticed another error i made when i submitted Motorhead - Overnight Sensation album, song 4 should be ' Eat the Gun ' Song 3 is listed twice. as 3 & 4.
I think i PM you about this one already.

Your welcome ,thanks for fixing it ,i checked Motorhead We Are Motorhead 6.Wake the Dead,but it wasn't fixed.
Motorhead - Overnight Sensation 4.Eat The Gun was there thanks for fixing it.

The most annoying aspect is doing the work and not being able to tell if it has beeb submitted,
which was something the previous format allowed Mods to do.
That is, click the Artist , Album or Song list as you were inputting, to check for errors (human, that is )
Daaaaannnnnn!!!! Help!!

Is there any other way other than PM-ing Battye, that Mods can correct errors.
I understand the need to keep the database a Mod-free zone, I would too!!

hi Moongirl , i also miss the option of seeing if the lyrics were submitted and also the option of double checking to make sure i didn't make any mistakes before i submit them.

Yeah, I've noticed a bad bug in the system that won't let lyrics admins submit, so the best idea is to add your password in the trusted user section so it will get added instantly.

I've noticed after i submit a CD the album title is there , but the lyrics ain't there after i add them as a trusted user.

I guess the only way to fix errors is to ask Battye for now or to be super extra careful so we don't make mistakes when we're submitting lyrics.

I'm one to talk i just finished adding Motorhead Overkill & i made a error i added Stay Clean twice as 2 & 3,but this time i made sure i added the real 3.(I Won't) Pay Your Price.
Sorry Battye can you remove the extra copy of Stay Clean?
