Recommend a song?

How about a section whereas we recommend a song? It could be a new one or an old one,we could post what Album its from and even a bit of history about the artist/band?,and maybe why we like the track?

I'll give an example:

Song:Confusion
Band:The Zoutons
Album:Who Killed The Zoutons?

Liverpool band(my hometown).Heard this track on a car advert on TV.They released their album a while ago but have since released it again with the new track added.

Or another example could be:

Song: Mull Of Kintyre
Band:Wings
Album:Err......

Caz says:"I like this tune because its about Scotland and i like looking up their kilts"

I think you get my meaning anyway, but what says you lot ;)

This sounds like it could be an addition to the Lyrics category. Where would you like to see it?

We also have sumpin similar to this in the OT by Jess..i would think we should combine the two and put em in the lyrics section..sounds gooda to me.

Yes, I think lyrics is a good place for this Mod.
Particularly, if we have those lyrics to refer to.
If we don't they can be added.
I am always looking for artists to add to our lyrics section.
Our "Song Of The Day" is a great source of new music for me.
Some of it is very interesting :wink:

I agree with Me and Moon on this one, Battye that's lyric/song related so it would fit well there, maybe start adding everyone's SotD to the lyrics section if we provide a link with them? could work well :D
