Okay... I am really not a happy camper over this and thought I would let you all know what has happened to me over this Canaca thing.....

On the 11th my sygate alerted me that Canaca had tried to acess my machine. This is the log back trace info I got:

So the way my firewall is set up, this blocked my ability to access Cricket as well. I had to stop active response in order to even get here to send the email. I am not sure why or how or even who cares but thought I would send them a email and ask wtf they think they are doing... lol.

my reply to them :

No log file? Could you elaborate on this for me? It seems you are denying that my firewall log has your information on it. As you can see from my previous email to you that it does exist on my end and I certainly expect more of an explanation than this for a look at my computer. The date and time it occurred was 10-11-04 at 19:10 GMT -5 from your server which you are responsible for causing me a loss of service, and causing me to have to call a computer technician to reset my firewall to allow me access to the CricketMX forum. I want to know why Canaca is intruding illegally into my machine causing me to pay $35.00 american to have a technician come and fix my firewall settings.

Now this is what they have said:

Can you send us your firewall log and then we are easy to check what is going on?

If this is caused from our clients, we can inform them

Can you send us your company name, phone no and your name and then we can contact you?

We can't contact the email like contactme@canaca.com!

Okay.... does this make sense to anyone... why first of all cant they speak english and second of all why would i give them even more information on me to use....and third..... does it sound like they are going to blame CricketMx to anyone besides me... hummm???

I havent done nuffin bout it.. should have called em tho.,,, cant decide if i should or not... grrrrr at them for all of it tho.
