Grr I'm so sick of these errors, let's all complain to Canaca.

emergency@canaca.com is the address, if they say it's not an emergency, say you consider these errors as a form of downtime. If they don't give a direct answer (highly likely) say you don't know what they mean (I go through this many times a month, I think they may have English as a second language :? )

Surely if we can get 10 or so complaints in they will have to do something... :x

Thanks :)

Okay I have sent them a email about this and I must say that they sure don't seem to give a rat's @ss about the problems they need to fix. No offense to our own resident Rat man... So here is the email I sent to them:

Dear Canaca
I am composing this email to advise you of a situation that is becoming a increasingly difficult problem for me and the forum I am a member of.
CricketMx is a forum I belong to and unlike any other forums I belong to I continuously receive error messages from here.
I have contacted the site administrator and He has informed me that you have been notified of this problem but don't consider our forum of enough importance apparently to fix this problem for us.
I am now receiving a new error that is interrupting my use of this forum. See details:
Failed sending email :: PHP ::

DEBUG MODE

Line : 234
File : /var/www/html/forums/includes/emailer.php

The above error is happening more and more often and is causing downtime for the site.
I am not the only one to have received this error and we would greatly appreciate your
attention to this matter. I trust that since you have the means to fix this and the
responsibility is yours that unlike our administrator has stated to me, you will take
care of this problem and show you value him as a customer. This forum has shown incredible
grwoth and is likely to become a long time customer I would think that might be something
worth considering in this.
Please do respond to this email so that I can trust that you are working on this for us.

Thank you for your time and considerations...

Me Here

Prolly wont help till we get more ppl to send one so if anyone is willing and able I would appreciate the support on this... Lets get them to treat us and Battye right....after all he would fix this if he could right away. They could if they thought we were all pissed over it... so lets help Battye get their attention

I think I know why they're in no hurry to fix battye's problem.
I ran whois searches at various sites today for 'www.cricketmx.com' and 'forums.cricketmx.com'. Most sites reported that the domain is not available but they didn't produce the usual list of administrative contacts associated with the domain.....
Then I tried canaca.com....
battye.... They say http://www.cricketmx.com is available!!! Your site is perhaps not properly registered. I'd call this an emergency to use with that e-mail address you gave us.

I just sent them the same E-mail as ME_HERE did but edited to not sound so nice.

below is a copy of what I sent.

Code: Select all

# www.cricketmx.com is available.

Please Click Here to order your web hosting account with this new domain name.
EDIT: Having said that, I'm not going to worry too much cos it says mine's available too, which it is not. :)

I mailed them:
In my E-mail I wrote:Dear Canaca,

You're probably getting sick of hearing about this issue by now. I know that one of two of the regulars of a forum, as well as the site's owner (your customer), at cricketmx.com have contacted you regarding an ongoing problem related to server errors. This problem is getting out of hand.

Besides being a member of the forum mentioned above, I am also the administrator of a web site which includes a similar forum. I have never, not even once, experienced the types of errors that I have to put up with every day when trying to navigate the cricketmx site. What exactly is the problem? What are you doing, if anything, to correct it? I think your paying customers deserve some support though the owner of the site has told me he has been asked to stop mailing you on this subject. If your company is not up to handling customer service, perhaps the site should be moved to another service?

The errors are various:

PHP errors. Debugger called
Configuration errors. Cannot find page
Downtime. Cannot find server

I hope you will give this problem some serious thought. In the meantime, I look forward to your reply.

patch. It is not working 100%. That is why we it taking so long. We are looking
into getting a different control panel, but we are not sure when we will change
it. I appologize once again.
