WinmxGroup.Com is offline and so is KM's caches.

A temporary solution to reconnect to the Winmx Peer Network is to use ahosts file fix until the problem is straightened out.

Winmx world have created a hosts file to reconnect to WinMX.
Downloaded the hosts file.zip hereor Linux hosts file.

Or

You can use the new Autochanger that will auto upload the hosts file to the right location in your Windows directory.
Download link.

:cheers: Thanks to Rik for the creating Autochanger so fast in this temp emergency, thanks to Me Here , Quicksilver , everyone at winmxworld and/or anyone else who has helped out. :)

For those of you that are running on primary connection it is vital that you follow these instructions:

Here-> http://www.winmxworld.com/help/temp_pg2.html

For now we have no blocking of the flooders in place and there for they can take up all your Secondary (S=) slots and leave no room for real users. Until we have a permanent solution please follow the above instructions to ensure your primary is hosting real users and not the RIAA.

Thanks.
Or if your using PG2 already add this http://www.winmxworld.com/files/lmkj.txt to your block list.

Thanks!!

You can read KM's Official Statement (29/06/2007): for closing down on the http://winmxgroup.com/ homepage.

I hope he releases the code or something to someone or group who can be responsible & trusted enough can take over the project.
