One freelance journalist asks the question why use p2p to listen to music when you can use legal free alternatives?
1. Internet Radio Broadcasting
2. MP3 search engines
3. Blog music
4. Go to the Source!

Interesting article , I've tried listening to online radio stations to listen to new music , if you have the rights tools you can even rip tunes from the streaming radio broadcast.
I haven't tried mp3 search engines.
I've found an downloaded songs & full albums from blogs & ofc I've been to bands websites to download free mp3 samples / full songs, sometimes even full length albums & music videos legally.
Google video , Youtube & myspace too are good for finding new or old artists / bands to listen to.
