Hhmmm, good questions! I found out the wireless isp (or I guess it is sattelite) is $29.00 a month, but they want to limit me to 500 mb a month. That is with my isp. DSL is $39.00 a month (with a different provider, think it's AT&T) Cable is going to be $45.00 a month (comcast) Now someone has t...

:D Thanks bunches guys! I printed all that stuff out, looks like I have a lot to think about. Now I don't know if I want to wait for the cable or go for the dsl. For some reason I had always thought cable was the best. My provider also offers a wireless internet. But I'm not sure if that would be as...

Grinch, do you think wireless would work in my situation?
My main pc is upstairs in the center of the house, the other 2 are in the basement at opposite ends of the house. :-k
Do they have to be closer together?
And do they have to be on the same level?

Thanks Bunches for the info :D

Networking!

Ok, I have finally decided that it is time to network our 3 computers together. So now I am researching the various ways of doing it. I would like all the input that "anyone" can give me on this subject. I would like to do it "right" the first time, lol If this is possible, this ...

To me it's actually Filetopia with a little flash. FileTopia has actually been around for some time, I was there before I found Winmx. It works pretty much like Winmx, just not very many members. And maybe a little recognition would help it get a few more members. Who knows, I may need to flee to th...

I thought so..... I've had FileTopia for some time now, and it is good, except for not having very many users, (yet!) So when I tried Telsa....it blew me away, I seen the exact same rooms from FileTopia, same users, etc. The client is the same except for the shopping thing and color. And hey, if Tel...

I had been on over 20 hours though so maybe it was just coincidence. When I logged back on, everyone said winmx server had ...
