Just not seeing anything there as your claiming michael, perhaps you should find a copy of the file rather than make claims of its existence ?

It wasnt the file your offering that worried me, its the updater, with your history its likely to download a trojan.

And btw what exactly are you updating, it cant be the peer caches as they are near static.

I see no reason to bother with this patch, its an installer made purely to deliver a host file, it will not help protect the network and more to the point the host file itself should be 8k, this installer is 300k, plenty of room in there for mischief. For those new to CricketMX , heres a link so you...

Hi all, just a few words of info that may be helpful to someone :) I read in the week about foks complaining the blocklist is not being correctly implemented on the new auto patch, with this in mind myself and Nobby have spoken about the issue and hopefully resolved the minor hold up in keeping the ...

I think its clear that nothing but hot air is emanating from the bluetak site, they are not willing provide reasonable info asked for and this leads to the conclusion they are acting as an anti p2p organisation. On slycks site it was mentioned they are also blocking legitimate edonkey servers also s...

Hi {MXC}michael. From what I understand it checks the search results and looks for the originating IP this is not the same as the primary it may be passing through. Once that is done it compares that IP to the blocklist and dumps the packet if its on the list, simple but effective. Sorry for the del...

New WinMxGroup 3.0 DLL - Anti Fake Patch

At last the problem of fake files is solved :) Select what you require from the list there. This patch works in conjunction with the WinmxWorld Blocklist and is able to be updated around the clock to keep the fake file flooders at bay. No longer will you even see the fake listings. I hope you all ag...

Anyone can connect to a winmx chat room once they know the name/number, you dont even need to be connected via the peer cache.

I reckon they used a patch though.

Let us know if a re-d/l fixes the problem or if not tell us some info about your system so we can help a li...

Are you running the server on an XP/win2k machine Lavagale.

Like many of the MxControl programs it will not work with 98/Me systems, maybe thats the problem ?
Also what port are you using to host the server on (6698 is the usual one ), as if its already in use it may give a strange message also. :?
